Cats in North Macedonia: rules and travel
Dog owners must register their dogs once a year with an authorised vet and keep them on a lead in public places. No banned breed list was found. Imported pets need a microchip, rabies vaccination and a health certificate.
Municipalities may add local rules for pets in public places, and none were found online.

Travelling to North Macedonia with a cat
Pets need an ISO microchip, a rabies vaccination and a health certificate from the origin country vet. An EU pet passport is accepted as proof of vaccination, and no titre test is needed from rabies-controlled countries.[1]
The same microchip, rabies and certificate rules apply. A rabies titre test is needed from other countries, taken at least 30 days after vaccination and at least 3 months before travel. The US APHIS page also says pets not going directly or via listed countries need a titre test.[1]
Not required from EU-classified rabies-controlled countries, required from other countries (blood sample 30 days after vaccination and 3 months before travel).[1]
No quarantine if all requirements are met. Non-compliant pets may be quarantined or sent back at the owner's cost. No import permit for a personal pet. Number limit not stated.[1]
