Getting into Norway

From an EU country
The pet must be microchipped first, then vaccinated against rabies at 12 weeks or older, and can travel 21 days after the first vaccination, so at about 15 weeks at the earliest. It needs an EU pet passport. Pets coming directly from Sweden do not need the rabies vaccination. Dogs need a tapeworm treatment from a vet 24 to 120 hours before arrival. Show animals to customs in the red channel. More than five animals falls under commercial import rules. source
Rabies antibody test
Required for animals from non-EU/EEA countries unless they come from a listed third country. source
Tapeworm treatment
Dogs must generally be treated against fox tapeworm 24 to 120 hours before arrival. Exempt: dogs arriving directly from Finland, Ireland, Northern Ireland or Malta. Cats and ferrets are exempt. source
Quarantine
No quarantine is listed for pets that meet the entry rules. An animal without approved papers can be refused: for example an animal arriving from Sweden without them must be sent back or boarded at the owner's cost. source
